Selmon Expressway – West Extension Project
in Hillsborough County, Tampa, Florida
PROJECT SUMMARY:
- Install 3,700’ of FDOT Type B chain link fence around ponds,
railroads, and other areas along the new Expressway road. - Install 495’ of FDOT Type B on the elevated extension to prevent
debris from exiting the roadway to railroad below. Work included
night-time only working, working at 50+ feet on aerial platforms, lane
closures, and maintenance of traffic. - Multiple mobilizations from Dec 2020 – April 2021
