Make Your Commercial Enclosure Aesthetically Appealing

Striking a balance between form and function is always a little tricky. As spring comes upon us once again, it’s time to take to the ballparks once more and enjoy the Great American Pastime – and there’s no more perfect example of form and function than a ballpark.

From classics like Fenway Park and Wrigley Field to palaces such as the big new parks in New York and quirky locales such as AT&T Park in San Francisco – giant Coke bottle and all – a ballpark has to be functional, but unique and appealing to the eye.

The same holds true when you’re looking to purchase gates or fence material for your commercial enclosure. On the one hand, you have a very practical need concerning gates and commercial enclosure. You want to make sure that your place of business is safe, after all. That being said, you likewise want your commercial enclosure to be somewhat inviting and appealing. No one likes doing business with an unpleasant or cold corporate entity, and a dour outside appearance can give the wrong impression.

How can you avoid that?

Keep Calm and Color On

For starters, it’s important that you do whatever possible to maximize elements that can make your gates and enclosure more inviting without in any way minimizing its protective abilities. One of the best ways to do this is to bring out the color in the surrounding area. Planting some flowers nearby can help the area seem more welcoming.

What’s more, you can avoid a monochromatic look to the area by including splashes of color here and there on the gate itself. This is perhaps most easily achieved by augmenting your gates with gold, silver, or bronze fixtures, but be forewarned – these, too, can attract vandals, so look to install a CCTV if you go this route.
